Commissioning
On Site Commissioning Service
SorbiTech commissioning is the lifecycle service that gets a new adsorber, dryer, PSA package, or separation skid from mechanical completion to contracted performance. The PuraSpecs commissioning team mobilises to site, manages the bed loading under nitrogen, runs the cold and hot commissioning sequence, calibrates the inlet load, performs the witnessed performance test, and hands over the as built documentation. The contract includes operator training in normal cycle operation, start up and shutdown procedures, alarm response, and the changeout routine for the adsorbent bed at end of campaign.
Commissioning Sequence
A typical commissioning campaign runs four weeks on site:
- Week 1: Pre commissioning checks, instrument calibration, bed loading under nitrogen
- Week 2: Cold commissioning, controls tuning, valve testing, control loop verification
- Week 3: Hot commissioning, first regeneration cycle, performance test on simulated load
- Week 4: Performance test on contracted inlet, witnessed acceptance, operator training
Handover Package
The handover package includes the witnessed performance certificate, the as built P&ID and material certificates, the controls firmware backup, the operator instruction manual, and the recommended spare parts list. The 24 month warranty starts at performance test acceptance. The same commissioning team is available for the next system delivery, which maintains site knowledge continuity across multiple projects.
