Field Monitoring

Performance Monitoring Through Asset Life

SorbiTech field monitoring is the lifecycle service that tracks adsorber performance against the contracted duty across the campaign life: outlet specification, breakthrough curve evolution, cycle health, and end of life identification. The service is delivered remotely via plant SCADA telemetry where the operator gives access, or on site by scheduled technician visits with portable analytical equipment. The output is a monthly or quarterly performance report that documents the asset trajectory against design and flags drift before it becomes a process trip.

What We Track

The standard monitoring panel covers:

  • Outlet specification (water dew point, oil in water, fluoride, dissolved organic carbon)
  • Cycle time and regeneration energy consumption
  • Inlet contaminant load and bed pressure drop
  • Mass transfer zone position and breakthrough proximity
  • Element differential pressure (coalescer / pre filter)
  • Analyser drift and calibration validity

Alert Routing and Response

For remote upstream sites the full monitoring contract includes telemetry to the SorbiTech regional centre; when a parameter drifts outside the alarm band the system raises an alert and the technical team mobilises a field response within 48 hours for the higher service classes. The combined monitoring plus response avoids the unscheduled outages that drive most operator complaints in the oil and gas and industrial gas sectors.
