Higher Pore Mouth Affinity Under Compression
CMS 420KT is a high efficiency carbon molecular sieve produced to ISO 9001:2015. The pore mouth design carries higher oxygen affinity under 7 to 12 barg compressed air than the standard rapid adsorption grade. As the cycle pressure rises the oxygen partial pressure rises in proportion, and the elevated pore mouth affinity captures the oxygen quickly inside the pellet before nitrogen can reach the same depth.
The kinetic separation factor holds across the high pressure window. BET surface approximately 1150 m2/g, attrition resistance verified per ASTM D4058.

Snowstorm Filling Compatibility
Snowstorm Filling (SSF) is the loading discipline that distributes pellets evenly across the bed cross section in a controlled cascade rather than dumping them through the manhole. CMS 420KT pellet shape, size distribution, and mechanical strength are engineered for SSF loading without breakage, segregation by size, or channelling. The result is a uniform bed that performs to specification from first start up and holds cycle integrity across service life.
Attrition Resistance per ASTM D4058
ASTM D4058 attrition resistance is verified per lot. The bed retains mass through pressure swings, fines stay inside the bed, bed depth holds across the design life without makeup. Where the existing PSA package shows attrition driven purity drift, SorbiTech supplies a CMS 420KT replacement charge and SSF loading service to restore design output without modifying the package mechanicals.
Forms and Supply
Supplied as 1.2 to 1.8 mm cylindrical pellets in sealed 25 kg drums or 500 kg big bags. Sealed drum is the supply format for SSF field loading. COA per lot with attrition resistance and SSF compatibility verified. Available as media or inside the SorbiTech PSA nitrogen generation package.
